Academic Coach

DMDL Academic Coaching services include… assessing student learning difficulties in reading and math, assisting students with personal and/or social developmental issues, identifying and addressing problems related to various insecurities (i.e. low self-confidence), identifying and addressing family influences that may adversely impact academic growth, and other issues identified by education stakeholders. DMDL academic coaches collaborates with regular classroom teachers and provided parental support when necessary to insure the educational needs of students are being met.

Academic Instructor

Support for reading and math is provided using a curriculum which infuses music theories and concepts aligned with common core standards. Active learning experiences are coupled with techniques. The instructor will operate in a small group environment that is rich and resonant. This provides learners with a symphony of learning opportunities and a sound education.

Arts Professional

DMDL is currently looking to hire Arts professionals (music, theater, dance, visual arts, etc.) to provide arts enrichment services to Chicago area Nonpublic school students, grades K-12. Our arts residency programs will operate anywhere from 4 – 16 weeks, March through mid-August, depending on school preferences and funding.

Paraprofessional | Teacher Aide (FT)

Our company is looking for individuals to provide support services to children, ages 7 – 18, who are in foster care and reside in a well-known Children’s Foster Care facility located in the northwest Chicago area. Services include teacher assistance, homework help, enrichment activities support, and mentoring. Additional skills to meet the individual needs of a child who may have significant behavioral and/or social-emotional issues preferred, but not required.
